Demonstration Rebranded Test Settings

This is a demonstration page for your rebranded online test settings.
Groups are used in ClassMarker for your rebranded tests which are for testing non logged in users.

You can have unlimited groups. Each group has one of your tests assigned which uses a theme you choose.

Once you have had a look at these setting, select 'My Themes' above to see how easy it is to create an online exam that looks like your own webiste.

"Here you will choose which of your themes to use, or you can use ClassMarker default theme."

Group user saving preferences
Optional: Choose to save results, and also which items you wish to save for each user who takes a test in this group.

If you decide to 'Not Save Results', you will not be charged anything for tests taken and advertising will show on test pages.

If you decide to 'Save results', you will be charged 1 credit per test taken and no advertising will show on your test or test result pages.

To have results emailed to you, you must also save results. This way you can also review your users results in ClassMarker.

Uncheck all options and remove text from extra information then update user saving preferences if you do not wish to save any of these details.

Group password
You can password protect your group to only allow certain people to do your tests or you can leave the password field blank and not password protect your group.

Do not use any of your personal passwords as you need to give this password to your users.

Score pass mark
You can set a pass mark percentage and set a different message and return link to show your test takers on passing or failing.
If you want the same return Link for passing or failing, just leave these Link boxes blank and set the Return Link below in the next options.

All fields here are optional, you could show just text, or just links or any combination. You do need to set a pass score for this to show however

Return links only show when results are being saved.

If you choose not to show any results for this test on the Assign test page, these pass or fail options will not display

Pass mark percentage score
Type a number between 0 - 100 for you pass mark percentage E.g. 80 will pass anyone who scores 80% or over

Group instructions
You can add some instructions or notes to groups. This will be shown to your users before and during the tests they take within this group.

Use the 'Enter' key once to create a line break or twice to create a new paragraph

Advanced
Optional: You can send a unique id for each of your users to be saved in ClassMarker against their test results. This allows you to select a user and view all their test scores at once without needing to look in the individual groups they may have taken tests in.

Send your id via a POST or GET parameter as cm_user_id.

When you view your users results in ClassMarker, you will be able to see the unique user id you sent with them. This feature is mainly for use if you wish to export these results back into your own website database via CVS or XML (Export functionality coming soon).

1. Allow only users with cm_user_id parameter to take exam

If this option is selected, ClassMarker will not allow any users to take a test if they did not arrive to your test without a cm_user_id parameter.

2. Allow each user only one try per test (cm_user_id required per user)

If this option is selected, each cm_user_id is only allowed to take a test once. (ClassMarker will disallow the same user taking the same test twice by checking against their cm_user_id)


Note: Even if no options above are turned on, if cm_user_id is used, ClassMarker will save these for you automatically. This means you can have users with and without a cm_user_id take your tests.

There's no catch, you can use rebranded quizzes completely free.

If you would like to have your quiz results saved in ClassMarker, so you can log in and see how your test takers did, and also have the quiz results emailed to you, then you can optionally buy credits.

Your users do not need to register with ClassMarker to take your rebranded tests.
