Latest features
Currently in development - 1 September 2008 We just wanted to let you know of few new little features we are working on at the moment that will be available in ClassMarker soon. Most of these features have come from your feedback - so thank you and keep your suggestions coming. Upcoming features:
When will all these fantastic features be ready? OH!!!, most importantly, you will be able to easily migrate all your current test questions into your new question banks, so continue to use ClassMarker as normal, and you will be able to start using these new features with all your questions straight away. Delete all class learners at once - 21 August 2008 As well as register a whole class of learners at once you can now delete your whole class of learners at once as well. On your 'Administer learners' pages, under your list of learners, you will see 'Deleting all learners at once'. You will need to verify your usename and password before the deletion will happen. If you have old classes that have learners you no longer test, please delete these learners as this will give you more available places in your account to register new learners. You can also download all your tests results for these learners from the Class Tests Results pages before deleting them. Register multiple learners all at once - 19 August 2008 That's right - You can now bulk register your learners with a simple comma separated list of your students first and last names. Go to your 'Administer learners' pages to find out more. If you notice any problems, contact us and tell us what problems you encountered and we'll get straight back to you. Transfer learners between classes - 11 August 2008 You can now transfer your learners from one class to another when you need to. Once a learner is transferred over to another class, the next time they log in (using the same username and password they always use), they will see the tests that are assigned to their new class. Use the 'Transfer' link on your 'Administer learners' pages within your classes. Set Pass Mark on Rebranded tests - 20 July 2008 You can now set Pass marks on the Rebranded tests via the group pages and show 'your own' feedback for passed or failed results. These new settings will not affect your current Rebranded settings, everything stays the same, you just now have the options to add pass marks and show feedback. This is not yet available for tests assigned to classes but will be coming soon. New ClassMarker Professional Homepage - 3 July 2008 We now have an alternate homepage for those of you (especially ClassMarker Professional users) who wish to link to ClassMarker without the wording 'Free' throughout it. This enables you to remove the impression to your students you are using the free version of ClassMarker when you are using the ClassMarker Professional upgrade. Your students can also now see they are using ClassMarker Professional upgrade version when they are logged in. The alternate homepage is at www.classmarker.com/professional You can link to the ClassMarker Professional Homepage using the html below on your website. ClassMarker Online Testing Insert questions in tests - 7 June 2008 You can now insert new questions anywhere in a test. You will see the new link with each question, 'Insert above question', when you go to edit your tests. Just remember when inserting questions or even adding new ones to the end of a test, if the test has answers saved for it, the answers will become out of sync with the questions once you start adding or inserting them. E.G. If you insert a new question at position 1, then every question will move down a place and no longer align with answers currently saved for it. Solution: Either export the tests results to excel and remove them before editing tests, or copy the test and edit the copied version then assign it to your classes or groups. View Learners last log in date - 7 June 2008 You can now view the date when each of your learners last logged in. Go to the 'Administer learners' tab in your classes and select 'Details' under a learners name. Download all test results for groups - 22 May 2008 You can now download all your test results for your 'Rebranded tests' recorded under your groups to excel for offline viewing and assessment purposes.
Go to My groups then look at your group results pages. Download all test results for classes - 18 May 2008 You can now download all your test results for your classes to excel for offline viewing and assessment purposes. Export options include:
All test result downloads are available for ClassMarker Professional accounts. My Classes shortcuts - 28 April 2008 We have added a couple of extra shortcut links to your My Classes page. View Class usernames - 20 April 2008 From your 'Administer learners' pages for each class, you can now view and print all the user names for all learners in each class, without having to look at each learner individually. 'Rebranded tests' are now available - 17 March 2008 A completely new way to give online quizzes Rebrand your quiz pages to look like your own website, business or school No need to register your users Have results emailed and saved in ClassMarker Users link directly back to your website after they finish their quiz Set time limit on multiple choice tests - 8 March 2008 You can now set time limits on your multiple choice tests. While a test is being taken, a count down is shown in the top right corner if a time limit is set. If a test was not finished and submitted before the given time limit, you will see this note below while viewing the results. 'Note: This test was not finished before it's time limit and has some questions unanswered' Unanswered questions simply will not have a tick or cross next to it. Missing questions are scored as incorrect and feedback is not shown for these questions. Set the time limit on your 'Assign tests' pages. The same test can be set with different time limits for different classes. Depending on network speed, a tests duration may show it took 5 seconds or so more then the time limit you set. This just takes into account quiz load time and answer submission time. Your learners however, will only be given the exact time given and not those extra few seconds. New 'Class results' page view - 5 March 2008 As requested, in the class results pages, you can now see the 16 out of 20 score view for each learner, as well as the score percentage. The format is shown as 16/20. This is new functionality, and as such, will only show the new score view for tests taken after this functionality was added. Percentages will still show as normal. 2 new upgrades - 1 March 2008 1. You can order your learners by first or last name, you will see 'Order by ...', links on pages that list your learners. 2. You can now hide and show your tests. This helps while navigating down the different pages that list your tests, as we know these pages can get quite long. Reset Class Passwords - 25 February 2008 You can now reset all your learners passwords in a class in one easy step. Once you have your learners registered in a class, you will see the link on the 'Administer learners' page to reset their password. This will reset the password for every learner in the class to the password you choose. This means your learners can do the tests unlimited times if practice mode is switched on, or as usual, just the once if practice mode is switched off. Note: Practice mode is turned off by default when assigning a test to a class. So all your current tests in your classes will be set to practice mode off until you turn practice mode on. While in practice mode, results are not saved. Go to your 'Assign tests' pages and view the 'assign tests tips' for more details.
