Assign account roles to boost efficiency
ClassMarker's Assistant feature allows Jacob to add multiple administrator roles, each with different access permissions. This flexibility lets him customize the level of access for each person, based on their specific role.
Various account roles leads to better use of resources.

Customizable access and permissions
You can grant full permissions to your Assistants or limit them to specific tasks. These tasks can range from simply viewing results to managing tests, categories, and the question bank or integrating webhooks/APIs.
Each role can be tailored to focus on specific parts of your ClassMarker account. For example, you might give your accountant access only to upgrade your account and download receipts, or allow a web designer to create test themes.
To create an assistant login, simply enter their first and last name, email address, and set up a username and password. Then decide their access level:
- If you choose 'Yes,' they can log in and manage the account within the permissions you set.
- If you choose 'No,' their role is limited to only receiving test results via email.
Key access features
- View Results: Assistants can view and export test results, download certificates, and see test questions and answers.
- Reopen Finished Tests: They can reopen finished tests, allowing users to resume them.
- Grade Results: This includes grading tests and emailing results to test-takers.
- Delete Results: Assistants can delete results from groups and links.
- Manage Groups: This involves managing groups, group members and their details.
- Manage Tests: Assistants can assign and un-assign tests, edit test settings, and handle Links Access Lists.
- Manage Content: Assistants can manage tests, questions, categories, themes, certificates, files, webhooks, API keys, and account plans. They can also view and export questions and categories.
Backup email option
You can set a backup email for accessing your ClassMarker account in case you lose access to your primary email or you change jobs.
It's recommended to assign at least one Assistant with this backup email option for extra safety.
Easy Assistant management
You can edit permissions and restrict Assistants access at any time. Simply go to “My Account / Assistants”.
